Platform Financial Analyst Signode Europe m/w/d 100%


  • Provides financial support to the accounting teams across Europe, provides month end timelines and guidance during the monthly closing and the reporting and analysis process
  • Reviews, assesses  and checks quality on reported numbers
  • Builds up, develops and owns the monthly platform operating review deck
  • Works closely with the controlling teams and the European data team to manage the coexistence of corporate and local ERP based data points
  • Supports identification and analysis of business trends by setting up and maintaining KPI’s to track development over time
  • Coordinates and supports of the VP Finance with forecasts, budget and LRP processes
  • Works out analysis, statistics and presentations for the platform management, ad hoc and on request basis
  • Supports the organization in its structure consolidation and simplification activities by supporting the respective projects as team member

Purpose and context:

  • Responsibility for the Signode Europe reporting and results analysis
  • Support the platform with providing guidance on US_GAAP corporate reporting to the global headquarters, building ad hoc reports and provide trainings and guidance as Power and Lead User of the reporting system
  • Acts as interface to and cooperate closely with the VP Finance, the European Finance leadership team and the US-based Corporate Finance team
  • Evolve and update necessary reports to support business needs
  • Pan-European organizational and business structure simplification project support off- and on-site

Education & Experience:

  • University or Advanced Technical College Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, controlling or business administration desirable
  • Some initial business experience - desirably in finance or manufacturing industry - is an asset but not a requirement
  • Fluency in English and preferably German, any other European language welcome
  • High IT affinity and experience - Excel, MS Office, HFM, any ERP and database experience supports the fast track minded jobholder
